BOOST This program pairs elementary students who want to improve their reading skills with caring adults able to give time and attention to listen and help students grow and improve. BOOST is a service of Dungeness Community Church. For more information visit boostlearning.org.
Care Cabin Every other month, a group from DCC provides essential personal supplies with prayer time to low-income individuals and families. Qualification requirements are EBT card and Clallam County residency, and appointments may be scheduled by calling 360-808-5726. Care Cabin is a service of Dungeness Community Church.
Christmas House This annual family-focused event is hosted at DCC with games, food and gifts to help families in need. Christmas House is a service of Dungeness Community Church.
Clallam Mosaic This local organization provides an array of programs for life-long education, leisure, and recreation to adults with developmental disabilities in our local community. For more information visit clallammosaic.org.
The Friends Place This respite ministry of Dungeness Community Church is designed to provide a place of love and community for people living with all types of memory loss, including Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, and mild cognitive impairment. The Gideons - This international organization committed to sharing the Gospel personally as well as distributing Bibles to hotels, military personnel, hospitals, prisons, and other venues. Dungeness Community Church partners with local Gideons to share the Good News in Sequim and Clallam/Jefferson Counties. The Gideons provide a free app which has the Bible in more than 2,300 languages. For more information visit gideons.org.
Habitat for Humanity - This nationwide program provides housing for low-income families by designing and constructing houses locally. Dungeness Community Church partners with the local chapter to build affordable housing, provide household goods and furniture, and resell donated housing materials. InFaith Ministries - InFaith enables called and committed followers of Christ to serve with purpose and passion nationally. Dungeness Community Church partners with local workers helping the migrant community through Bible and English studies and practical adjustments to their new community. Kairos Prison Ministry - This international ministry addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, and children (through Bible Study, discipling), and support for their families. Obria PNW Pregnancy Medical Resources - This local, faith-based pro-life organization provides counsel and medical care to expectant moms; parenting training and counsel; supplies for newborns; and support to those dealing with post-abortion trauma. For more information visit obria.org
Olympic Angels - This local organization allows individuals or groups to come alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by providing consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship during a one-year period. Not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can make a difference in the life of a child. For more information visit olympicangels.org.
Project Angel Tree This ministry of Prison Fellowship provides Christmas gifts and other support to children whose parents are incarcerated. Dungeness Community Church partners with Project Angel Tree to provide and deliver wrapped gifts for children locally at Christmastime. The Ramen Shop - This local faith ministry prepares and serves free meals in Sequim to support community members in need through difficult times. Volunteers can prepare meals, serve, clear, or provide support. For more information click here or visit shareramen.com.
The Salvation Army - This international organization provides many services locally, including meals (daily breakfast and lunch), food bank, "Hope Market," personal care, clothing, and Sunday church services. Sequim Beautiful Day Each spring DCC joins with other local churches in performing a variety of community beautification projects for schools and other organizations. For more information visit sequimbeautifulday.org
Sequim Food Bank - This local organization provides food and assistance to people and organizations so that "no one goes hungry in our community."
